Two of my favorite teams and a week in Singapore full of AI containers and diesel engines 🙂 I went to learn more about the wider data center industry. But first I want to tell you about these two companies and why I think you should know them too! 🟡 12 hour meetings with FogHashing I first met the team years ago while helping a client look into their liquid-cooling solutions. We’ve worked together ever since and become good friends. I really admire their work ethic. Just before Singapore we spent a week exploring AI modular data centers and what we can do better in this area. We worked 12 hour days and had a great time. I love being around people who are excited to learn and solve problems. That attitude shows in their products too. No surprise that FogHashing is my first recommendation when clients ask about liquid cooling. One of those happy clients is Braiins. I helped with their recent 6 MW hydro-cooling container deployment in Houston. And they know what they’re choosing because… 🟡 Braiins have brains! I’ve recommended Braiins’ software to many clients who are now mining more Bitcoin with it. I’ve also got to know their CEO Eli and really admire how he manages people and handles even very difficult situations with elegance. I’d want to work with him in any industry or company. Next, let’s clear up any conflicts of interest. Yes my husband Kristian Csepcsar is their CMO 😁 When we first met at a conference I was impressed and thought he worked in BD. We worked together for about a year before we started dating. He’s one of the most creative and passionate people in our industry. And he wears the company T-shirt every single day. A walking Braiins icon 😂 So if you mine Bitcoin talk to Braiins. And don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten… 💛 The team I don’t see enough My own Bitmars team! Since moving to Europe in January I see them less often so it’s great to be back in Shenzhen for a bit. They deserve a post of their own! I can’t catch up with everyone as often as I’d like so I’m committing to sharing more of my work and life at least here. I’ve wanted to write again for a long time. I used to write for a lifestyle magazine but that’s a story for another time More on what I learned about AI in Singapore in my next post 😊

@fortschritt_x I suspect some of the people behind this want much more than better schools. That's precisely my point, fix the legitimate problems and give anyone exploiting them a way to show what they're actually after.

If I were Macron (unlikely, since I have a spine), I would start by addressing the students' reasonable education demands. Give them more teachers, better classrooms and proper resources, real improvements students actually benefit from. Fix the genuine problems and give anyone pushing another agenda less to hide behind. Worst case, you've invested in better schools. I can think of worse uses of taxpayers' money.

@sermonofbacchus @elonmusk Just looking at Astra tuition fee. It cannot compete with public schools.

@sermonofbacchus @elonmusk More choice makes sense to me, the question is how we make it available to families who can't afford an alternative. Their kids deserve that freedom too.

@dumdotfun And even if I do trust the people building it today, you don't really know who inherits it.

I like AI. It helps me build things I've wanted for years. What scares me is that governments probably feel exactly the same way. But seeing the director of national intelligence put in charge of the new Super Intelligence Force makes me nervous. I’m thinking about useful little projects. I'm worried they're thinking about how to follow every payment, connect every account and flag every unusual habit. We probably have very different ideas of what needs building.
