Srebrenica’ya girdiği ilk gün çekilen meşhur bir videosu var Mladic’in, orada astı olan General Radislav Krstic’e “kaldır şu Müslüman cadde tabelasını” diye emir veriyor, Krstic de kendi astlarına emir verince sinirleniyor ve “kaç defa söyleyeceğim, kaldır kıçını Krstic” diyerek fırça atıyor. Caddeye ismi verilen Reuf Selmanagic, aslen Srebrenicalı olan ve Nazilere karşı Saraybosna savunmasını örgütleyen partizan istihbarat subayı. Nazi birliklerinden yığınla cephanelik ele geçiren de, halkı örgütleyip silah altına alan da kendisi. Bu yüzden Tito’nun çok büyük övgüsünü almış biri. Mladic’i Yugoslavya’yı kurtarmaya çalışan bir fedai zannedenler var, kimi açıktan söylüyor bunu, kimi ifade etmeye cesaret edemiyor ama o mertebede gördükleri kişi aslında sırf Müslüman ismi taşıdığı için bir Partizan’a tahammül edemeyen bir savaş suçlusu.
