Today is the birth anniversary of Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar, the queen who contributed immensely to the temple heritage of Bharath. She had rebuilt / renovated a number of temples demolished by Mughals across the country. In Tamilagam, she had renovated both the sacred Rameswaram and Thanjavur temples. We are grateful to her for such a extraordinary work despite facing many hurdles.

There is a small town called Charouda in Chhattisgarh, unfamiliar to most of us, there lived a boy named Bharat. He belongs to a weak financial family. His father worked as a security guard at a bank and his mother ran a tea stall Later on, he went to Kendriya Vidyalaya Charouda for schooling. In the 9th grade, he was unable to pay fees, but the school helped by waiving them, he did well in 12th grade and got into IIT Dhanbad. When money became an issue again, business people Arun Bagh and Jindal Group from Raipur helped him. He did excellent in college and got a gold medal with 98% at IIT Dhanbad. During his 7th semester in engineering, he got placed in ISRO. And got an opportunity to work on Chandrayaan 3 at just 23 years old. He is proof of the saying 'Rising from the ashes like a phoenix'. Imagine someone in the private earning ₹2 lakhs a month. Sounds like a good salary, right? That’s ₹24 lpa. He pays around ₹4 lakhs in ITR, plus indirect taxes on everything he buys. Add EMIs, rent, bills, and daily expenses, how much can he realistically save? Maybe ₹3–6 lakhs a year. To save ₹2 crores, he’d need to work for 20–30 years. Now consider this: ₹2 crores, that’s the bribe an IRS officer demanded from a business to settle just one case. One case. What could be a person’s lifetime savings is another man’s bribe from just one case! Imagine what he’ll accumulate over a lifetime if not caught. Multiply that by lakhs of govt employees, bureaucrats, politicians, judges. Not saying all are corrupt, but even if 20% are, the scale of money hoarded is unimaginable. And yet, somehow, India continues to move forward. How we’re progressing despite this deeply institutionalised corruption is nothing short of a miracle.

Godse blamed Gandhi for: Fueling the Khilafat disaster, Justifying Moplah Massacre, Pressuring Hindus to accept Pakistan, Denying justice for Partition victims. Going on a hunger strike… to force ₹55 Cr payment to Pakistan while refugees begged for food. He wrote: I do say that my shots were fired at the person whose policy and action had brought rack and ruin to millions of Hindus. I bear no ill will to anyone individually, but I do say that I had no respect for the present government. Even his execution was a shadow act. No press. Nobody. No funeral. Ashes kept secretly, with one wish: Let these be immersed in the Sindhu when Akhand Bharat rises again. His brother, Gopal Godse spent five decades writing and defending Nathuram’s ideology, producing books like: Gandhi Vadh Kyon? May It Please Your Honour Why I Assassinated Mahatma Gandhi. History wasn’t allowed to hear their side. But they kept writing. The men who made Partition happen ruled India. The man who blamed them swung from a rope. This wasn’t just an assassination. It was a war of narratives, and for 70 years, only one side got to speak. You don’t have to support Godse. You don’t have to hate Gandhi. But you must read, and you must question. A civilization that buries uncomfortable truths walks blind into the future. Just remember: Bharat's story is not always black and white. Sometimes, it bleeds in grey. Another huge lie of the Syrian Christians of Kerala is they are descendants of converted Namboodiri Brahmins. There is absolutely no historical basis for such claims.
