People confuse nonpartisan with nonpolitical. Vocally supporting gay and trans people, even back when it was less popular, and encouraging people to be kinder to people of different backgrounds is at the center of our political discourse today (e.g., Christian ethno-nationalism).

This is actually dishonoring to Dolly. She was famously non-political. And she insisted on it stridently. She refused honors from both President Trump and President Biden because she was concerned that it would be viewed as an endorsement of their respective administrations.

I don't think that's true. I'm not an expert on women, but rom coms that are popular with women commonly feature a handsome but not overly muscular man who's sensitive, kind, gentle, funny, romantic, and intelligent. Thus, I assume the audience finds the leading actor attractive.

No, it's bc "theyfab" is flung when some folks in the trans community want to call trans men & nonbinary people they don't like "stupid worthless bıtches" when we speak on our lived experiences or stand up for ourselves, but that's frowned upon, so y'all invented a new word.

TMEs think "theyfab" is an insult for all AFAB NBs because they use "AMAB" as just slur for trans women and their crime of being born male

"trans men historically had it easy bcuz they could stealth & maintain male privilege" & it's a total of like 5 men, including one who had to hide his identity from his wife and kids & another who had to constantly threaten to shoot people, while the rest have stories like this:

those are children, not a phenotype. you're attracted to children. those two children grew into adult women who are still working actors and public figures, but you didn't post pics of them as adults, because you are attracted to children.

Piercings on men and long hair means a lot to me as a Native person bc I know how very important it is to many of our cultures. Telling a Native trans man I'm a theyfab for pointing out how stupid the "no piercings and long hair" rule is is just pro colonialism tbh.

People are disagreeing with OP by claiming that theyfab is only ever used to callout people who weaponize their own AGAB… and then immediately disproving that by proceeding to label OP a theyfab when they have never once did that…

They’ll kill me for this but I really don’t like when people call trans people fearing for their own safety irt hate crime “fearmongering.” You are going to get trans kids killed by lying and saying nobody ever attacks visibly trans people even in the most conservative places

We rolled out the red carpet for buses on Madison and Lexington Avenues. The result? 150,000 New Yorkers have faster daily commutes. Fast and reliable buses now cruising along an avenue near you.

being a trans man is being told to be a good girl, shut up and deal with the misogyny before coming out, and then being told to be a real man, shut up, and deal with misogyny AND anti-transmasculinity AND the patriarchal expectations placed on men after coming out

I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 45 minutes. He's so sharp. Just like always he let me do all of the talking. He's a great listener. After that we prayed silently for awhile and had a staring contest. Just like always, he beat me. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.

whats really antiblack is intentionally not funding neighborhood schools in Black communities so parents feel there’s no choice but to send their kids somewhere else.

Never trust a military person. They think it's okay to kill people. I dream of a world where military service is career-endingly scandalous.

Fresh into college and was partying with my black quad mate. Realize he disappeared and I was the only black person at the party. A white girl gave me a cup with "unidentified" alcohol. I looked around and realized I was the only one with a cup in my hand and just left the party

I still DO NOT understand how so many of you were hoodwinked into believing the government should not use the money you pay in taxes to create a social safety net that benefits you, fund public healthcare, lower housing costs, and make daily life more affordable.
