A lot of people have been comparing OHM to NetCapital. Yes, $NET is a fork, but I think it’s also a massive improvement on the original model. OHM captured people far outside of crypto because the concept was simple: stake your coins, earn every epoch, compound, and watch the machine work. People didn’t want to sell because their bags were literally making them more money while they held. But OHM had flaws. One thing that makes me extremely comfortable with NetCapital is the 5% tax on both buys and sells. That capital flows back into the system, and the treasury is already starting to look like it could go hyper-parabolic as volume scales. And here’s the part I don’t think the market has even started pricing in yet: Cash flow. You’re not just valuing $NET based on NAV. You have NAV + a growing treasury + recurring cash flow, and then you have to decide what multiple the market eventually puts on that cash flow. I personally think a 10x multiple is just the starting point. On that math, I can see $NET trading around $5,000 per token as NAV continues to grow and the treasury keeps compounding.
