My biggest XRP supporter friend keeps telling me that for XRP to be used at scale in global cross-border payments (Fed-related projects, Ripple's enterprise ambitions, etc.), each XRP token would need to be worth around $1,000 or more. His argument: market cap doesn't matter—liquidity does. At $1 per XRP, the system supposedly wouldn't have enough liquidity to move the volume of money Ripple envisions, but at $1,000+ it could. I've heard this claim multiple times, but I still don't fully understand it. Can someone explain this in simple terms? Is there any truth to the idea that XRP must have a very high price per token for large-scale settlement to work?

The fact that after the DTCC news XLM has tanked, should tell you everything about what is going on. BTC driven speculation is driven off emotion, it is engrained in the industry, and people don't listen to reason or logic, just emotional nonsense. That is why XLM tanked. I mean, do you know the token will be used to bridge assets and do retail settlement? I bet you didn't, and these require lots of XLM not just fees. So by jun 2026 when they turn it on, I wouldn't be surprised if all the XLM is gobbled up and used, the circulating supply and XLM usage I peg to triple digit pricing, assuming Sterrar is widely used, even 0.1% is $100BN daily.

I still can’t over how utterly disgusting Dimon is. The disregard for retail and the egregious power needs to stop Crypto and Bitcoin fixes this
