I’ve been a Premium+ subscriber for a while now and wanted to share some honest feedback about the current experience, because I know I’m not the only one feeling this way. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed several consistent issues: - **Grok usage limits** have become extremely restrictive. Even with Premium+, the weekly caps (especially for Imagine and video generation) are hit very quickly when doing any kind of creative or deeper work. Many users, including myself, are burning through their allotment in just a day or two. - These limits were never clearly communicated when subscribing, which has left a lot of paying users feeling misled about what they were actually getting. - **Reach and impressions** on original content have been consistently low, even with Premium+. I recently posted an original video + original song and only got ~76 views in the first hour despite having ~17k followers. This kind of performance makes it very difficult for creators to grow. - The combination of tight Grok limits and weak organic reach is making Premium+ feel significantly less valuable than it should be for many of us who use the platform heavily. I’m genuinely curious how widespread this experience is. Grok 4.5 is good, but the limits are becoming a big issue... So, @grok just hit me with a paywall MID conversation asking me to upgrade to $99/mo when i'm already paying $30/mo for premium. Is this normal?! It feels pretty predatory to lock someone out of a conversation they're already in the middle of. Especially when they’re already paying monthly!! It’s never done that to me before this must be new

The new @grok weekly usage limit feature absolutely sucks. The limits are some of the lowest in the industry and I have to wait for days for it to reset, unlike the standard 24 hour reset it users to have and is common on other platforms. A couple of images gets you at 3% weekly limit. A dozen or so chat prompts in an extended research thread will consume your limit in a couple of days. It's bullshit and kills some of the only reason people used Grok, which is its generous daily usage limits. I don't like how they merged the usage limits with the chat. the image, voice and imagine features when I don't even use voice and imagine. It uses to be very generous on chat alone. I wish they revert this move. Their users aren't happy at all.

Grok AI is a total rip off now. Even if you pay for Premium Plus, and super Grok once you hit your usage limit, you are locked out and forced to wait a whole week to use it again. X hides these strict caps from us when we sign up My advice? Save your money. There are other programs out there for your money with much higher usage limits. Don't get ripped off, people. I already cancelled my monthly subscription. Unfortunately, I was a little late on the billing cycle, so I’m stuck using it until the month runs out but after that, I’m done.

Not sure people fully grasp what launch of Grok 4.5 means. Enterprises are already clamping down on token spend. Chinese open source models offer strong price/performance and have gained traction, but many orgs still avoid them over data sovereignty, compliance, security, and geopolitical risks. Grok 4.5 delivers better than Chinese open source performance at near Chinese open source cost — without the stigma of being… Chinese open source. Western-built and enterprise-friendly. They are about to suck the oxygen out of the room.
