This a sad case of a very young patient (not older than myself) with acute occlusion myocardial infarction (OMI) and a large, but PREVENTABLE myocardial infarct size! The OMI paradigm is not about #ECG millimeter criteria or age, it is about years of scrutiny and thousands of previous cases with clearly documented outcomes. This is well-known by both experts and the Queen of Hearts, but regrettably not the current standard of care suggested by guidelines.
