Pq eles próprios enxergam esse tipo de serviço como algo humilhante e sem valor. Manter a própria casa limpa e fazer a própria comida é algo comum, mas fazer isso pros outros é servir; e quase todos que servem são vistos como inferiores, principalmente quando se é mulher e quando vc não trabalha fora de casa.
