At Abilene the high of 94° today not only set a new record high for this date (previous record was 93, set in 2009), but also tied the record high temperature for the month of February. The record high for February was previously set on February 25, 1904. #sjtwx #txwx

Update for the severe threat. DON'T get caught up in the exact area, storms don't always follow the rules. Just know severe storms are possible. Most likely area south of a San Angelo-Brady line. Large/very large hail, dangerous winds, & isolated tornado possible. #sjtwx #txwx
