Peacemaker is pure chaos in the best way. Christopher Smith is loud, reckless, and obsessed with his own idea of peace, but underneath all that is someone struggling with his past and trying to figure out what being a real hero actually means.

I love the fact that the little stood up for himself

When I turned 18, my mother asked me to do something that made absolutely no sense. She wanted me to deposit $5 into her bank account every month. “Just consider it a family tradition,” she explained. I asked her what the money was for. She smiled and said, “You’ll understand when the time comes.” I thought she was joking. She wasn’t. So I set up an automatic transfer. Five dollars. Every month. Without fail. When I left home for university, I continued. When I graduated and struggled to find a decent job, I continued. When my car broke down and I had to borrow money from a colleague, I still made that transfer. My younger brother once discovered the arrangement and laughed until he could barely speak. “You’re literally paying Mom for nothing!” I shrugged it off. Every time I tried to cancel the payment, I remembered her expression when she first asked me to do it. There was something in her eyes that made me leave it alone. For twelve years, she never missed a single opportunity to thank me. Not once. Then, three months ago, I found the perfect opportunity to start my own business. I had the experience, the business plan, and even a potential partner. There was just one problem. I needed $25,000 to get everything off the ground, and my savings were nowhere near enough.

This scene had me laughing because Carl suddenly realizes there’s someone sitting in the back after she asked him "You like me" . 😭

One of my favorite things about movies is how a fictional character can somehow say something you’ve been trying to put into words for years.

My mother has advanced dementia and doesn't recognize my face anymore. Yesterday, I sat by her bed for three hours while she excitedly told me all about her "wonderful child" completely unaware that the person she was missing was the stranger holding her hand.

After my College, I moved to another city because I wanted to build a life for myself. At first, things were going well. I found a job, rented a small apartment, and felt like I was finally becoming independent. Then I lost my job. I spent months applying for other positions, but nothing worked out. My savings disappeared faster than I expected, and eventually, I started falling behind on rent. The embarrassing part was that I never told my family. Whenever my mom called, I'd tell her work was going great. If my dad asked whether I was making enough money, I'd laugh and say I was doing better than ever. Sometimes I'd even buy groceries with the last of my money just so I could post a picture of a decent meal and make it look like I was living comfortably. I wasn't trying to deceive them for fun. I just couldn't stand the thought of moving back home after spending so much time telling everyone I was going to make it. ...

How was Thanos able to hold the Power Stone in his bare hand for so long in Avengers: Endgame without getting hurt? In Guardians of the Galaxy, the same Stone was overwhelming Peter Quill, who is half-Celestial. Thanos pulled it out of the Gauntlet and used it to punch Captain Marvel. Was his durability enough to withstand its energy, or is this a plot hole?

Two legendary shows. Two mastermind main characters. Only ONE can take the crown. 🚪 Prison Break vs. 🧪 Breaking Bad Which series completely hooked you from the very first episode?

Lady you are the monster. You killed your ex point blank with 0 hesitation.

My husband didn’t leave me for another woman. He left me for the man he was at twenty-seven. I need you to understand that, because everybody kept asking who she was. There was no she. There was a job he quit, a city he missed, and a version of his life where nobody needed him to be steady. We had been married for nine years. Not a loud marriage. A useful one. He worked in logistics. I worked at a clinic. We had a boy who was seven and a girl who still asked to be carried up the stairs even though her legs worked fine. We had a mortgage that scared us and a Sunday routine that saved us. He used to say, “This is the life I didn’t know I wanted.” I believed him. Then his oldest friend called from the old city and said their company was hiring “people who still remember how to move.” My husband laughed on the phone. He laughed in a voice I hadn’t heard since before the children. After he hung up, he sat at the kitchen table staring at nothing. I asked, “What?” He said, “They want me back. Not the management job. The old one. The one where I was actually good.” I said, “You’re good now.” He looked at me like I had described a stranger. “I’m reliable now,” he said. “That’s not the same thing.” I should have heard the grief in that sentence. I heard an insult instead. We fought for six weeks. Not every day. Worse. In pieces. He would be sweet at breakfast and unreachable at night. He started staying up listening to old music. He stopped asking about my patients. He started saying “back home” about a city we hadn’t lived in for eight years. One night I found him in the garage, sitting on an overturned bucket, turning his wedding ring around his finger. I asked if he was unhappy with me. He said, “No.” Then, quieter, “I’m unhappy with the size of my life.” That one sat down in my chest and didn’t get up. “Our life is small on purpose,” I said. “We built it small so it wouldn’t break.” He nodded. “I know. And I’m grateful. I hate that I’m grateful and still feel like I’m disappearing.” I asked him what he wanted. He didn’t say divorce. He said, “I want to go back. Six months. Maybe a year. The money is real. I can send it. I just need to remember what my days felt like before every hour belonged to somebody else.” I asked, “And us?” He reached for my hand. “You are not what I’m running from.” I wanted that to be enough. It wasn’t, but I was tired, and he was already halfway gone in his mind, so I did what wives sometimes do when they are afraid of being the reason. I told him to go. The children drew him pictures for his bag. Our son wrote “come back” in letters that leaned into each other. Our daughter didn’t understand time, so she asked if six months was before or after her birthday. He promised before. He cried in the driveway like a man who knew he was doing something he would have to pay for. Then he left. The first month, he called every night. He sounded guilty and bright at the same time, which is a terrible combination in a husband. He told me about the old routes, the old jokes, the way the city still knew his coffee order. He asked about homework. He told the kids stories. He said “I miss you” like a man touching a wound to see if it still hurts. The second month, the calls got shorter. Not cruel. Just thinner. He was tired. The job was heavier than he remembered. His body wasn’t twenty-seven. He didn’t say that part. I heard it in the way he sighed before he said he was fine. The third month, he mentioned her. Not as a confession. As a detail he thought was harmless. “A few of the old crew went out. You remember Ife? She works there now. She asked about you.” I did remember Ife.

Silence carry power ,you don’t have to announce yourself in every room that you go into ,make yourself so variable then people would know your name before you even walk in ,carry yourself with respect you don’t need to prove your value to people

This was supposed to be a relaxing spa day… so how did it get this chaotic? 😂 Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Anna Faris and Michelle Buteau bring the chaos.

The ocean isn’t empty. We’ve simply yet to discover everything hiding beneath its surface. 🌊😳 Most people think the deep sea is silent, dark, and lifeless. But the truth is, it’s far from silent… and we’ve barely scratched the surface of what lies down there. 👀🌊
