A new NFT project will be released soon on SOL that will come out of nowhere and absolutely giga-send. It will be pumped by a combination of ETH and SOL players. This project pumping will spark the hope in others that new mints can make money and old NFTs can run again.

Want to clear some things up That $2 million number floating around makes no sense. Let’s address LILY: - LILY minted on Nov 22 - 350 were free - 4,200 were 1 SOL for the Whitelisted - 5,450 were dutch-auctioned starting at 5 SOL but sold for an average of 4 SOL - Solana was around $12 USD when we stabled post mint Not all WL was used so total mint proceeds were around $400k. Royalties were optional before we launched. Out of the 925k total volume you see - we made 3.2k SOL in Royalties compared to what would have been 46.2k SOL (-94%). To be generous, SOL has been an average of $20 during that time, so let’s call that $64,000. $464,000 lifetime for LILY. Now Lotus Gang: - 4000 collectibles in 2021 for 0.75 SOL = 3000 SOL - SOL was around $170 at sale - 10% donated to the farmer’s protest in India (300) - 20% went to the launchpad (600) - 70% of the volume for the collection happened around the LILY mint, when royalties were optional - 2100 SOL mint funds were stabled at $80 for around $168,000 Lifetime from Lotus is around $300,000. $764,000 over 2 years. Not millions of dollars. Where did funds go: - My salary: $100k per year pre-tax, so ~200k total - Around $450,000 to team, dev contractors, artists, musicians, animators, alpha hunters. Dev time for a bottoms-up art engine for LILY. It’s not just a couple of traits stacked and randomised. I’ve talked about this before. I’m a 2D artist so everything that wasn’t 2D art had to be paid for. Some examples: - Planting - Library management - Merch - Silk Road (trading video game design and dev) - Gags like the Floor Calculator, Jail Calculator Cropinator - Working with BOOTs on the Transmogrifier for onchain customisation and Droplets (airdropped free) - Retroyalties concept - Lotus Validator (with 0% commission now) - Lotus Gang Wars (idle staking game and 8,000 animated collectibles to be airdropped - never released as ultimately didn’t want to further dilute nor create another token) - LOTUS Pocket (profile system for holders) - Blooming V1 (custom staking system) Let’s talk about Blooming. Blooming was originally a fresh custom stake-for-points system to be released after customisation. We scrapped it. The new idea was that we would host different funny games, events and make limited edition products every 2-3 weeks. Why was I hyping up Blooming V2 a week before I pulled the plug? Well, I didn’t. The video we put out shows all the shit we went through. The second sentence in the tweet is “We have no idea what will happen”. Direct quotes from my announcements are “I’m not telling anyone to buy or risk money - who knows how it will go.” “In current conditions we advise against buying any collectibles if you are trying to speculate and flip. We have no idea what our approach does to price - we just want to be creative and deliver fun experiences”. We dropped the first game and it was not well received. Listings went up and the Discord were unhappy again. This directly led me to making the call - something that was on my mind for quite some time. I don't think any of my current ideas can outperform just holding and staking SOL. Ultimately what we used from the sale of the art while the project was active, and what comes next with anything remaining is my decision to make. For now I am parking it in the LOTUS Validator and may use it to enhance existing collectibles in the future.
