Steam's censorship is becoming increasingly noticeable. Recently, there have been numerous reports of Japanese games featuring young girls being removed or rejected. Furthermore, a recent issue has been raised, claiming that the back view of a woman in an image used to promote a horror game was sexualized. Steam's regulations appear to be particularly strict, with problematic games being moved to other platforms for help. Importantly, these changes, often touted as being "for the sake of children" or "for women's rights," do not seem to contribute to society at all. We need to make our voices heard to prevent things from going in the strange direction. I will be posting in Japanese as well.

keep in mind how profitable the gaming industry is and what built up youtube. Now they want to punish it, and there are a lot of back room conversations going on, and NONE of it is good. This is no coincidence, the timing. This affects EVERYONE, and we TOLD YOU censorship would come for what YOU loved, oh mockers of those who die on hills most wont. If you are someone who does react content overtop your gameplay and it randomly gets "censored" or hidden when you swap browsing modes, this is why. They rebranded under DENTSU, a japanese firm that works globally, has a global group, and seems to give the most basic of advice, that this group just looks like propaganda organizers at this point.
