🚀 HYPE Just Entered a U.S. Crypto ETF Alongside BTC, ETH, XRP and SOL Hyperliquid’s hyperliquid:native has officially been added to Hashdex’s Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF (NCIQ), marking its first appearance in a U.S. crypto ETF. With a 3.4% allocation, HYPE is now the fifth-largest asset in the fund, behind only: • bitcoin:native • $ETH • ripple:native • $SOL The inclusion comes as Bitcoin’s weighting in the index fell from 78% to 74.6%, creating more room for other major crypto assets. The Nasdaq CME Crypto Index also includes assets such as $ADA, $LINK, stellar:native and bitcoin-cash:native. For @HyperliquidX, this is another step beyond being just a leading perpetual trading platform. Its growing presence in institutional investment products puts HYPE alongside some of the largest assets in crypto. The big question now is whether HYPE can secure a larger weighting in future index rebalances. That will depend on Hyperliquid’s continued growth, the evolution of the protocol, and how institutional crypto products navigate an increasingly strict regulatory environment. 🗣️ Kraken and Hyperliquid in Talks to Launch U.S. Perpetuals .@HyperliquidX is reportedly in advanced talks with Kraken's parent company, Payward, to bring perpetual trading products to U.S. users. According to Bloomberg, the potential deal would use Bitnomial, a U.S.-regulated digital asset exchange and clearinghouse, to provide compliant access to some Hyperliquid perpetual contracts. This could be a major breakthrough for Hyperliquid. Despite processing over $4 billion in daily trading volume, Hyperliquid has been inaccessible to U.S. users due to its decentralized structure and lack of a centralized operator. A partnership with Bitnomial could provide the regulated infrastructure needed to enter the U.S. market. However, any agreement would still require regulatory approval, with Payward reportedly submitting a proposal outlining the structure to the CFTC. If approved, this could mark Hyperliquid's first major entry into the U.S. market. The race to bring perpetual trading onshore in the U.S. is accelerating, and Hyperliquid could soon become part of it.

🚨HUGE: $HYPE surges nearly 50% from $57 to $84 as Hyperliquid reportedly advances talks to enter the US market. Kraken's parent company Payward, which holds CFTC licensing, is in discussions to bring on-chain perpetual futures to American traders for the first time, per Bloomberg. A "Kraken HIP-3 test DEX" was reportedly spotted on Hyperliquid's testnet two weeks ago with permission controls that could support US compliance. $HYPE is up another 5% today on the Bloomberg report.

Hyperliquid Turns $USDC Yield Into hyperliquid:native Deflation Starting today, @HyperliquidX begins accruing revenue from USDC reserves through AQAv2. The key mechanism: • Stablecoin reserve revenue is shared with Hyperliquid • Around 90% of reserve revenue after operating costs can flow to the protocol • Revenue accumulates every 30 days • Funds are sent to the Assistance Fund (AF) • AF uses them to buy HYPE from the market • Bought HYPE is then burned permanently The first earnings start Aug. 26, with the first actual payment expected on Oct. 3. And the potential is huge. Based on current USDC supply and reserve yields, market estimates suggest this could generate roughly $135M-$160M in annualized revenue for hyperliquid:native buybacks. That is NOT an official Hyperliquid forecast, and the actual amount will depend on USDC deposits and reserve yields. More USDC liquidity → more reserve revenue → more HYPE bought → more HYPE burned. Hyperliquid is effectively creating a mechanism where growth in its stablecoin liquidity can directly translate into HYPE supply reduction.

USDC supply on Hyperliquid increased by $248.92M and $150.52M, for a total increase of $399.44M USDC. This is an even more important metric with AQAv2 set to begin on August 26. For context, AQAv2 will distribute 90% of Circle’s revenue generated from all USDC on Hyperliquid, with 100% of that revenue being used to buy back and burn $HYPE.
