Like if you make a trivia quiz your objective should be to make it fun, make a mix of easy medium and hard questions that allows everyone to score some points and the aficionados to show their stuff.
as to what the question is actually asking, you failed. For example if you say "what's the tallest mountain on earth" and you don't specify above sea level or worse you deliberately don't specify sea level as a trick then you've written a bad trivia question.
A bad puzzle trivia question occurs usually when someone is trying to show off some knowledge that they know rather than to create an engaging experience. You also don't want the trivia questions to have any basis in speculation or opinion. Like if there's room for doubt
If you make the questions too specific then only a handful of people are going to know it, if you make them too broad then everyone will know it. You should also write questions based on your audience if you know who they are going to be.

Hello everyone, I guess this is it. After some introspection during my break, I've come to the conclusion that it is best for me to stop running this account, after 7+ years of daily posts. I won't deactivate the account, for the sake of "archiving" whatever needs to be saved.
