@jonathandenney I am fine with it - but there is three parts. Breaking changes on the backend. Feature replication is abysmal. They should of bought out HeyMantle On the other hand idk why HM is just going, their event tracking is subscription worthy alone
If you need tooling solutions for your company that are promptable excalidraw grapejs kanboard remotion you can go right from planning to deliverables. I think in in this new age as a software dev its about empowering those in your company.
@jonathandenney Interestlying enough, was fun - the app runs on Netlify and API calls are done through Netlify Functions. Was built in decison because we like the old Shopify app architecture where things like App Bridge handshakes were up to you. We wanted to see how far we could strip it down
@jonathandenney For context our goal was to build a completely databaseless app. Mantle, Crisp and Ably. Everything else was part of the metafield debacle.

@StrangeWill @jonathandenney There is the new app subscriptions setup now which has usage limits built in. But its very lack luster in comparison to mantle.
@jonathandenney I have a feeling its not just the billing api being deprecated. I wrote then a support email a week or so ago about a 431 errror where shopify was stuffing their cookies in the header request making int impossible to make api calls in some cases
