Storytelling Family Drama… 😂 When COVID-19 was raging through New York, the city became so quiet you could almost hear your neighbors arguing over who finished the quarantine snacks. Nigeria has over 100 embassies and diplomatic missions across the globe, but it’s becoming increasingly hectic to understand why passport renewal at the Nigeria High Commission in London is always plagued by delays, negligence, favoritism, and unnecessary frustration. What exactly is difficult about issuing ,renewal of passport that Nigerians in the UK have to keep facing this kind of delay and embarrassment? My friend Dammy’s passport renewal is currently on hold. Same with Dolapo’s. And these are not isolated cases. How many more Nigerians have to suffer before something is done? Let’s also make this clear: Nigeria Immigration Service is not officially asking people for extra money. But I cannot say the same about the conduct of some of the staff. The Minister @BTOofficial needs to act fast. Nigerians in the UK deserve better than this administrative mess.

Let me share a story of my uncle. He married out out of pity because they have dated for long. This woman doesn't wash his clothes or treat him that nicely as a wife should. He went to work one day and met a woman that he usually leave his work clothes there for keeping so that he can use them the following day. The next day to his supprice, the work clothes were washed and she cooked for him. This act over some period made my uncle marry her as the second wife. I can relate to this very well.

I told him exactly where to get it. I was very clear that, the person I’m sending to him, is heading to town. If he misses it, he’d have to wait till the person comes back. Or blow empty to catch up with the person, and I wouldn’t be financially responsible for that. In my presence, the person who was to give him the package called him. He picked and they spoke. Tell me why I called this idi0t to ask if he had recieved the package, so I could give him further instructions on how to finally deliver it… and he’s “warning” me… Telling me that I didn’t inform him after sending out the package. That now, the person I sent is no longer at the place I asked him to pick up from. I got mad! I immediately gave him serious warning. What do you mean by that? Are you trying to call me stvpid, by this silly stunt you think you’re pulling? He probably had another job to deliver, and couldn’t meet up quickly with the person I sent. Now the person is no more there. He’s trying to flip it all on me. I am totally exhausted! At this point, I may just need an assistant. So I don’t run mad😡
