There will pupils waiting for the two pay buses as well this evening. Much appreciated.
SKI RETURN TO SCHOOL- anticipated arrival will be dependent on traffic. ETA 4pm, which means everyone can have an early night ready for school in the morning.
DAY 5 - Lots of pics and videos to share on what has been a fantastic time.
A huge thanks to Dan and the team @snowslippers another incredible opportunity for our pupils. Brynteg have left the building.
DAY 5 The Last day- waiting for the service bus to get to the slopes this morning. All present and correct. Rooms all emptied and we are on our way for one last hoorah. For some it was all a bit too much.
Brynteg School values award evening was a rip roaring success. RESPECT- James Iris Isaac Dylan Liz Cleo INDEPENDENCE- Alex Rosser COMMUNITY- year 13 Girls KINDNESS- Charlie Wilsher RESILIENCE- Albert TOP PUPIL - George Talbot It has been a blast !!
Great end of the day with the last test to ski backwards under control. Some first time skiers making huge progress today
Presentation evening - DAY 4
Presentation evening tonight and this lot have had a hugely successful week. What a group of fine pupils we have had the privilege to give this experience to. It’s our staff presentation tonight and we are looking forward to celebrating some more successes later.
DAY 4- there’s a new meaning to the word tired!!! Pupils dragging themselves to breakfast and forcing some sustenance into their weary bodies. Now on the gondola and after a little pep talk and some back tapping they are a different looking group. Go brynteg!!!!
DAY 4 - refuel in process. Hauspizza and Tirol grostl have proved to be particular favourites.
DAY 2- as they say in Austria “scorchio” what a day. Boiling hot blue sky, fantastic snow. Huge progress, made by our pupils.
Back at base camp- some weary limbs. But all in one piece ISH!!!
Special night at our evening meal as we celebrated Raff becoming a fine 14 year old young man. We are now off to the local spa for a wash ( sorry a swim!!!)
DAY 2 - Pupils all enjoying the spa and swimming facilities in a beautiful setting. And a summary of some of todays action. Nos da Pawb. @snowslippers
DAY 3- remarkably in good spirits after an excellent debrief session from Miss Hopkins last night. Busy day in glorious sunshine, sledging and shopping. Game faces on todays hard deck has been set at 2,900m.
