🚨PITCH SIDE SPONSORSHIP🚨 Didcot Town Football Club are currently looking for pitch side sponsorship for the 2026/27 season at the Loop Meadow Stadium. This is a great opportunity for a business to have their name around the perimeter of the pitch. Last season, we had over 4500 visitors to the Loop for first team games. The Loop will also host reserve team, Allied Counties and veterans team football during the season, giving you fantastic exposure. All home first team games, an highlights reel is produced for our social media platforms, giving you even more exposure. You will be thanked on our social media pages with exposure to over 17000 followers. The package includes: Company logo around the perimeter of the pitch throughout the 2026/27 season. Twice we will say thank you on our social media pages across Instagram, Facebook and X. This can include a picture of you with your banner. Two tickets for a home league game of your choice. This is a great opportunity to have your business advertised, as well as helping out your local non-league football team. If you are interested then please get in touch for more information and we will have your banner in place for the start of the new season. Please contact: [email protected] or you can contact us via the message service on the social media platforms. Thank you for your support.
🚨Stadium front board sponsor🚨 We now have a fantastic opportunity for you to have an 8'x4' sponsorship board on the front of the stadium. This is not only a great opportunity to advertise your business on a football matchday but to everyone that uses the club, the doctors, Willowbrook leisure centre and parks in the car park at the school drop off and pick up. We have limited space across the front of the ground. Don't miss out on this opportunity. The boards are available for £500 + VAT For more details, email: [email protected] or message via the message service on social media.
The new pitch has really started to take shape this last week, with it now being mown every day. It will be game-ready in two more weeks, with the first team open training session on 27th June taking place on the pitch to give it its first test. As a grounds team, we are so grateful for the support in ensuring we will have one of the best playing surfaces in the league and, more importantly, the tools to do the job. The previous pitch had become very poor and mainly consisted of a weed grass called Poa Annua, which has really shallow roots. The pitch resembled a minefield after each game and, to be honest, was an embarrassment. Years of no real investment and massive overuse have created the problems, and we are certainly not going to allow these things to happen again. Moving forwards, we know we need to change the way the pitch is managed and used. Premier league pitches with unlimited resources and half artifical pitches struggle with 50 to 60 games per season so it is no real suprise to see how bad ours was after 130 plus matches per season. This season will see a vast reduction and a budget will be in place to carry out annual works required to keep it in top-class condition and back to its former reputation. It's certainly exciting times at the football club, and we are happy to play our small part in moving all areas forwards. The grounds team DTFC
Didcot Town are now actively looking for sponsorship for the 2026/27 season. All sponsors come with a range of benefits including. Free tickets for games and being promoted across our social media pages twice a season to our 17000 followers. Did you sponsor a player during the 2025/26 season? With match highlights and photographs at all our home games, your company can be seen across our social media pages as well as our 5000 visiting supporters each season. We would like to have these made in the near future so they are ready for the start of the new season. Front of the stadium boards were new last season and proved popular. The 8ft x 4ft board are not only seen by our visiting 5000 supporters throughout the season. With a busy car park, work the doctors surgery, Willowbrook Leisure Centre and parents at the nearby school using it as a drop off and pick up point, they get plenty of exposure throughout the season. Didcot Town are delighted to welcome back Taylor Bedwell next season. The defender is now back in training after surgery on his knee last season, which saw him miss the whole campaign, and he will be hoping to push on this season after a frustrating three years with injuries. Taylor has made 104 appearances for the club during his time at the Loop Meadow Stadium, and he's shown a high level of maturity and leadership and is a player teammates look up to, despite only being 22 years old. Welcome back, Taylor.

Didcot Town are delighted to announce that Jim Glover will be returning next season. The influential midfielder was again at the heartbeat of the Didcot midfield last season with his all-action performances. Jim was the club's supporters player of the season in their promotion season of 2022/23, in their last season in the central division, and he will once again be a key member of the squad. The 30-year-old made 35 appearances for the club last season, taking his career tally at the Loop Meadow Stadium to 153, and he's a big character within the squad. Welcome back, Jim.
Didcot Town are delighted to announce that Cam McNeill has agreed to return to the club next season. The experienced defender was an ever-present last season, playing in all 49 games for the railwaymen in all competitions. Cam is Mr Reliable in the Didcot defence, and his form in the 2025/26 season saw him named the Players' Player of the Season. Cam has now played 292 games for the railwaymen, scoring 14 times, and manager Jamie Heapy will be delighted to welcome him back for the 2026/27 season. Welcome back, Cam.
Didcot Town will be holding the 1907 club draw on Tuesday afternoon. Young supporter of the year, Tom, will be making the draw. The prize pot will be in the region of £500. We will announce the winners tomorrow evening. If you would like to join the draw, it is £10 per month, and you can join via a standing order. It is also possible to pay for 6 or 12 months in one payment. Half of the £10 each month goes towards helping the club on and off the pitch. Please message via Messenger or email [email protected] if you are interested in joining. We are grateful for all of your support.
Didcot Town manager Jamie Heapy says he's delighted to welcome George Reid back to the club after the announcement on Friday that he will be returning to the Loop Meadow Stadium. George returns to the railwaymen after six years at Basingstoke Town, and Jamie is looking forward to working with a player he's managed previously at the Loop. "I’m absolutely delighted to bring George Reid back to the football club. "George is a player we know all about and someone who the supporters already have a real connection with. He’s an incredibly exciting player to watch, full of energy and quality, and the type of player who gets fans off their seats. "As well as being a fantastic talent, George is a great character to have around the dressing room, and I’m really looking forward to working with him again. "I’ve got no doubt he’ll be a huge player for us this season, and I know the supporters will be just as pleased as we are to see him back in a Didcot shirt." George scored 31 goals in 113 appearances during his first spell at the Loop, including being the leading goalscorer in the 2017/18 season with 12 goals. During his time with Didcot and Basingstoke, he's scored 77 goals in 260 appearances. George was also the leading goalscorer during his time with Basingstoke, scoring 20 goals in 38 appearances during their treble-winning season of 2022/23.
Didcot Town are delighted to welcome George Reid back to the club from Basingstoke Town. George spent four years at the Loop Meadow Stadium between 2016 and 2020, making 113 appearances and scoring 31 goals. The forward enjoyed his best season at the Loop Meadow Stadium during the 2017/18 season, when he netted 12 times in 46 appearances. George moved to @Basingstoke_FC in 2020, where he made 147 appearances during his time with Stoke, scoring 46 goals. In their treble-winning season of 2022/23, he netted 20 times in 38 appearances and he was hugely popular during his time with the Southern Premier Division side. Welcome back, George. *Thanks to Hans Cook for his Didcot stats.

Andy Lyne and Lewis Cuss have put in another monumental effort during the season. Director of Football Andy and Head of Scouting and Recruitment Lewis have gone above and beyond in their pursuit to bring new players into the club. Hundreds of players have been watched in their pursuit to help manager Jamie Heapy strengthen his squad over the season, and it's not been the easiest task when they have been trying to sell them the travelling involved in the Southern section of the Southern League. Many, having put a lot of hours into bringing them to the club, fell at the final hurdle. In total, seventeen new arrivals arrived at the Loop Meadow Stadium for the 2025/26 season, making over 260 appearances between them for the railwaymen. The club's three leading goalscorers in 2025/26, Tyger Hall, Owen James and Cam Mills, all arrived last summer, scoring 43 goals between them over the season in their first season playing at step four. Everyone at the club appreciates the hours you and your team put into strengthening the squad throughout the season.
On Saturday evening we had a new award. The Didcot Town FC Legends award. Two proper legends of the club were the first recipients of the award. Justin Lambourne reflects on both award winners and the impact they have both made at the club over a lengthy period. DTFC Legend Award Chairman John Bailey The first award was presented to our very own Chairman John Bailey, who has been at the heart of this club now for over four decades and who has given so much to the club, ensuring it is still here and operating today. Thank you from us all. John, you really are a true legend! DTFC Legend Award First team manager Jamie Heapy The second legend award was presented to someone who has been and continues to be incredible for this club and whose dedication and loyalty are second to none. Jamie Heapy has been a youth player, senior player, captain, and now long-term first-team manager for this club and is a true example of what it means to be a legend! Jamie's dedication to this club is unwavering, and we are all lucky to have him as the first team "gaffer". The experience, mentoring and coaching he provides to our up and coming players is fantastic and his journey through football shows and inspires our young talent what they can achieve in their footballing careers. Thank you, Jamie, from us all!!! Congratulations to both on their awards.
21 years ago today. The greatest day in the history of Didcot Town. Lifting the FA Vase at White Hart Lane after a 3-2 final win against AFC Sudbury.
JP is back! Didcot Town are delighted to announce that midfielder JP Nyuysemo has agreed to remain at the Loop Meadow Stadium next season. The midfielder had a huge first season at the club, making 45 appearances and scoring five times. At the weekend he was named the Young Player and Supporters Player of the Season. Welcome back, JP.
The skipper is back for another season! Didcot Town are delighted to announce that club captain Adam Learoyd has committed himself to the club for the 2026/27 season. Adam is a huge presence at the club, and he was named the managers' player of the season at the weekend. The giant defender will be hoping to go past 500 appearances for the club next season, having made his debut for the club in 2006 and having made 464 appearances during his Didcot career. He's also contributed over 50 goals during his time at the Loop Meadow Stadium. Welcome back, Adam.
