🇾🇪🇸🇦 The Houthis just attempted their WORST attack on Saudi in years, targeting Abha International Airport. According to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, its air defenses "dealt with" the missiles. But the timing could not be more dangerous. It came hours after Saudi jets allegedly bombed Sanaa Airport to stop a Houthi delegation returning from Ayatollah Khamenei's funeral in Tehran. The Houthis have largely stayed out of the U.S.-Iran war this year, but that is now rapidly changing. 🚨 COMMENTARY This isn't about whether the U.S. and Israel are literally "merging" their militaries. They're not. The real question is whether we're creating something harder to reverse: A defense relationship where joint R&D, shared supply chains, co-production, and integrated technologies make strategic separation increasingly costly. Foreign aid can be ended with a vote. Defense ecosystems are different. Once critical technologies, procurement, software, and industrial capacity become intertwined, every future administration inherits that dependence. That's the debate Congress should be having. Not whether this is a "merger." Whether we're building a defense partnership that's politically and economically too expensive to unwind.

U.S. CENTCOM: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed the latest wave of strikes against Iran at 10:15 p.m. ET on July 13. During the five-hour mission, U.S. forces successfully struck military targets across Iran including Bushehr, Chah Bahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas to further degrade Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping. CENTCOM forces employed precision munitions against Iranian coastal defense systems, missile and drone sites, and maritime capabilities. More than 50,000 U.S. service members are currently deployed across the Middle East. American forces remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.
