Tenemos que conocer los detalles del acuerdo petrolero anunciado ayer para poder evaluarlo con propiedad. Pero el monto de impuestos por recabar anunciados por el gobierno interino es insolitamente bajo. US$209 mil millones por 65 mil millones de barriles, representa $3,2 dólares por barril. Y si ese monto es en términos nominales, traído a valor presente es una cantidad irrisoria. La falta de transparencia con que se está manejando la política petrolera es muy alarmante...

Hagamos este ejercicio: si ponemos un precio promedio de 60 dólares por barril, nos da un valor total de 3.9 billones de dólares (65x60). 100 mil millones de dólares en infraestructura y equipos representan el 2.6% del valor total bruto del petróleo. Y 209 mil millones en impuestos representan una regalía de aproximadamente el 5%. Esto es extremadamente bajo. ¡Guao! Si ponemos un precio del barril a 30 dólares, las regalías serían del 10% (aún muy bajas). Bueno, por supuesto acá lo positivo es que habrá muchos empleos en la industria petrolera de Venezuela en los próximos años, obligatoriamente necesitan mejorar la generación eléctrica, entre otros.¿Qué les parece este acuerdo: malo o bueno?
