@GoLABolts I mean I agree with you they can't just sign any body to the roster but there are some options they could go after I mean the guy that was just released from the cowboys would add better depth and better option
@GoLABolts @crazyboltfan Well clearly they don’t look at many of the available free agents. We’ve seen this time and time again. What a weird hill to die on on a beautiful Saturday
@GoLABolts @crazyboltfan a few teams have converted salary to signing bonus to create some cap space. If we really wanted a player, there are ways. again, hope they are at least doing some due diligence. Either they are really tight-lipped or aren't even going thru the motions.
@GoLABolts I mean maybe they are and if the player decided to go somewhere else then it is what it is we tried But at the same time it doesn't seem like they are trying I mean they had opportunities to add better depth before the trade deadline and throughout the season
@GoLABolts I mean teams that aren't as injured as us and teams that still had strengths at WR or other positions went out and added more to that strength and your saying the chargers couldn't make anything happen to atleast add better depth at say edge, wr, or o line
@GoLABolts @crazyboltfan It’s more of a roster construction issue. Storm Norton being on the roster as he was supposed to compete with Pipkins for the RT spot, only to be beat out by a practice squad guy. Carrying 3 QBs on active roster. Larry Rountree being activated when DT was needed. Lacks awareness.
@GoLABolts @crazyboltfan I think that’s what people are upset about. For me, it’s not what is happening now. I agree, high-caliber players don’t grow on trees. But lack of foresight such as expecting an aging WR1, an injury-prone WR2, and a 2nd year WR isn’t the right call.
