This was awesome. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dan Caine paid tribute to yet another unsung aspect of the joint force, focusing this time on those in artillery. “Now, as I often do, I want to share a little bit about our incredible joint force. Today, I’m going to talk about our incredible artillery force comprised of American soldiers and Marines who have been sinking ships, destroying depots, and launching Army tactical missiles, missile systems, or ATACMS precision strike missiles or PRISMS, and high mobility rocket systems, or HIMARS from outside Iran. Our army and marine artillery are hitting sites that Iran relies on to project power beyond their borders and protect our deployed. In just the first 13 days of this operation, our artillery forces have made history. They fired the first precision strike missiles ever used in combat, reaching deep into enemy territory. They’ve used Army ATACMS to sink multiple ships, including a submarine, and they’ve done all of this with the precision and determination that comes from relentless training and trust in each other and in their weapon systems.” “Yesterday, I had the incredible honor and privilege of speaking with some of our young soldiers from the Third Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the unit and the crew that fired the first precision strike missiles. The soldiers I met came from all over this great country: New York, Texas, Delaware, California. One had been in the Army only six months and had been in the unit for two months and was already deployed. He was the youngest at 20, but you would not know it from the way that they talked about their mission. The others were 22 and 28 years old. They spoke with the sense of calm, pride, purpose and clarity that tells you clearly they understand the weight of what they’re doing and the people who depend on them. I asked him to walk me through a fire mission. I asked not just what they do, but what they feel, especially those first crew members on this particular mission. These soldiers basically live in these vehicles behind us, the cab very tight. Two folks sit next to each other with the crew commander behind them. It’s jammed inside there with their personal weapons and kit, and they sit and wait for a fire mission. And when that fire mission comes, they close the armored doors and begin to program the systems. They then throw three simple toggle switches and 10 to 15 feet behind them, a rocket motor ignites and the round is headed downrange to do the nation’s work.” “I asked these youngsters, these young, awesome Americans, what does that feel like? And one of them just looked at me and said, ‘it’s awesome.’ No drama, no hesitation. In the middle of the day, in the middle of the night, in the sun, the rain and the snow. Flawless execution. Their Marine counterparts are out there doing the same thing every night. Same work, same pressure, same expectations, same results. And we hand tremendous and enormous responsibility to these young Americans, and they carry it with a level of maturity, grit, professionalism, and tenacity that makes me incredibly proud to be a part of their joint force. Their parents and families, what could and should be incredibly proud and their leaders. And I trust them to do the deeds that they must do in difficult circumstances every single time.” “I also want to touch today a moment — I want to touch for a moment today on their leadership. These young Americans are led by extraordinary young leaders out at the tactical edge. Yesterday, the battery commander and her NCO were there with this crew on the same video screen. The two of them hardly said a word. They didn’t have to in their eyes — and in particular, the commander’s eyes — you could see the quiet trust and confidence she had in these soldiers and the rest of their battery. It came through loud and clear, and we appreciate their leadership. When I asked these soldiers yesterday, what is it that you need from the Secretary and I? They looked at each other, paused for a moment and look back at me and said, ‘more rounds, sir.’ It was awesome. So, thank you to those soldiers and Marines out on the firing line supporting our mission. And thank you to their families. Our joint force will continue today to deliver dynamic fires against the enemy from the land, sea, and air. We remain deeply grateful for their service. And, for the third time today, I’ll mention that today will be our busiest day. This mission remains complex, dangerous, and difficult, and every service member has a family waiting for them to return home. And I want to thank all of the families today who are supporting their deployed forces and those doing the work here in the States.”
OPERATION EPIC FURY 🇺🇸
🚨 CHIEF OF CHICAGO POLICE NAILED IT: "Let me make this CLEAR! Federal agents, ICE, HSI, are officers. They are agents of law enforcement." 🇺🇸 "We need to be clear about these laws. We cannot become a society where we just decide to take everything in our own hands and start to commit crimes against law enforcement!" "It is a crime. You may not like what they're doing. I can understand that there's a lot of emotions out there, but that does NOT mean that you get to commit a crime, especially one that could lead to deadly force." "We need to keep everyone safe. Our responsibilities when it comes to federal agents, and I've been asked these questions, we do not interfere with the duties and responsibilities of federal agents." - stated in Oct. 2025 Even in CHICAGO, you can stand with ICE and all federal agents. The Minneapolis Police Chief should be saying this RIGHT NOW.
Mike Rowe: “We’ve been telling kids for 15 years to learn to code.” “Well, AI is coming for the coders.” “It’s not coming for the welders, the plumbers, the steamfitters, the pipefitters, the HVAC, or the electricians.” “In Aspen, I sat and listened to Larry Fink say we need 500,000 electricians in the next couple of years—not hyperbole.” “The BlueForge Alliance, who oversees our maritime industrial base—that’s 15,000 individual companies who are collectively charged with building and delivering nuclear-powered subs to the Navy … calls and says, we’re having a hell of a time finding tradespeople. Can you help?” “I said, I don’t know, man … how many do you need? He says, 140,000.” “These are our submarines. Things go hypersonic, a little sideways with China, Taiwan, our aircraft carriers are no longer the point of the spear. They’re vulnerable.” “Our submarines matter, and these guys have a pinch point because they can’t find welders and electricians to get them built.” “The automotive industry needs 80,000 collision repair and technicians.” “Energy, I don’t even know what the number is, I hear 300,000, I hear 500,000.” “There is a clear and present freakout going on right now. I’ve heard from six governors in the last six months. I’ve heard from the heads of major companies.”

WELCOME TO THE NEW ERA OF THE PENTAGON PRESS CORPS!
Update on the Barracks Task Force.
.@SecWar ARSENAL OF FREEDOM FULL SPEECH
Democrats have now voted 12 times to SHUT DOWN the government - preventing paychecks from going to our troops, vets, and air traffic controllers and stopping services to women, infants, and children. Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats can make this shutdown end IMMEDIATELY if just FIVE Democrat Senators would use common sense and pass our clean, 24-page bill to turn the lights back on.
What If the Skies Shut Down This Christmas Season? What if you’re mid-flight or sitting at your gate, and the FAA suddenly issues a nationwide ground stop due to a terror threat? On 9/11, U.S. airspace shut down for the first time in history. 4,500 planes forced to land in under 3 hours. Thousands stranded in cities they’d never been to—no plan, no info, no way to reach family. Passengers slept on terminal floors for days. Parents couldn’t reach their kids. Fuel, food, and hotel rooms ran out. International travelers were stuck overseas without money or medicine. It can happen again. Today’s threats aren’t box cutters—they’re invisible bombs, which is essentially just the old underwear bomb from Christmas Day 2009, updated. Here’s some things to think about: (1) If you get stuck in transit between flights or on a layover, stay calm. Stay put until directed. Keep your essentials on you (ID, meds, water, charger, protein bar, cash). Have comfortable shoes, clothes for the weather not just in the city you are traveling to, but the city you are traveling through. (2) If there’s an explosion in the terminal, depart immediately. Don’t wait for instructions. It may be a hazmat situation or secondary device situation—distance and fresh air are your friend. (3) Establish a communication cadence: One short message home per hour, “Safe. Grounded in Chicago. Will update.” Keeps everyone calm and saves your battery. Stick to texts as cell service may experience disruptions. Also, have a power bank. (4) Screenshot flight details, hotel contacts, and offline maps before you fly. Also, any important documents not with you. When networks crash, screenshots still work. (5) If the stop lasts more than 24 hours—know alternate routes: car, train, or nearby host. Be clear all external threats have ended before resuming ground travel. Don’t wait for the airline to figure it out for you. Know you might be dealing in cash. (6) Families need to have a travel plan, much like a fire evacuation plan. Designate one point of contact outside your immediate area, establish a simple check-in code such as “SAFE” or “HOLD,” and agree on a pre-decided safe locations. Keep enough food, cash, and supplies at home to last at least a week in case you become separated. (7) If you’re waiting at home, don’t panic-call—phone lines jam quickly. Follow FAA updates and verified airline feeds rather than rumors or social media. Assume communication will be limited and remain calm. If it’s safe, stay put and do not venture out until you fully understand the situation, as the threat may extend beyond the airports. On 9/11, it took nearly a week for air travel to return to normal. Families were split across continents, people ran out of cash, phone lines died, and fear filled the silence. Preparedness will counter this fear—it’s about focusing on resiliency. Make a plan for yourself and your family before you fly, because if the skies close, you’ll want to be the one who already knew what to do.
Today is a new day in the Middle East. Thank you @POTUS for your unwavering commitment to peace. The world is a safer because of your leadership.

🚨BREAKING: Senator Chuck Grassley just announced that a FBI whistleblower revealed to him an FBI project called "Artic Frost" that targeted groups like Charlie Kirks TPUSA! This is a BOMBSHELL! He says that they are releasing those documents TODAY! "In total, 92 Republican targets, including Republican groups and Republican linked individuals were placed under investigative scope of Arctic Frost." "On that political list was one of Charlie Kirk‘s groups, turning point usa. In other words, arctic frost wasn‘t just a case to politically investigate Trump." "It was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors could achieve their partisan ends and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus." "So, today Senator Johnson and I are making these records public for the entire country to see. I hope a lot of people are interested in seeing what government can do when various agencies have a political agenda."
Tomorrow, I will have the honor of hosting the Charlie Kirk Show. Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend. 12:00PM ET Rumble.com/CharlieKirk
Yesterday, we welcomed Minister Pevkur from Estonia, Minister Sprüds from Latvia, and Minister Sakaliené from Lithuania to the Pentagon. We discussed President Trump's historic success in bringing the NATO alliance together behind the 5% defense spending pledge at the Hague Summit, which the Baltic states are on track to hit in the next year. The momentum behind a stronger and more lethal NATO alliance is high, and I thank the Baltic defense ministers for their support toward our shared objective.
My first two words on this particular Sunday morning were "Hallelujah!” followed by, “Amen!” I was not in church when I uttered them. I was at my kitchen table, watching the CEO of the most valuable company in the world say precisely what mikeroweWORKS has been espousing for the last sixteen years. In other words, this is what I look like before coffee, when I find myself in violent agreement with a multi-billionaire. If you haven’t already heard, a massive challenge is upon us. With regard to artificial intelligence and the energy we need to feed it, America will either change its current direction, or get left far, far behind. I know this because I run a modest foundation that has been arguing for decades that the portion of our workforce most often described as “the skilled trades,” will become the most essential component of our economy, our independence, and our collective future. Well, the future is here. Obviously, I didn’t know that the race to dominate artificial intelligence would be the thing that finally galvanized the folks at the grown-up table. When I founded mikeroweWORKS in 2008, I figured it would be a new commitment to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure that would necessitate a collective push to reinvigorate the trades. That need is still pressing, but I never imagined the most urgent cry for more welders and electricians would be ushered in by the need for more data centers. Back then, I didn’t even know what a data center was. But today, here we are. Data centers are headline news, because they are – as Jensen Huang says - AI factories. And if we want to remain competitive with China, we need to build thousands of them. Now. And presently, we simply don’t have the workforce to do it. I’ll be discussing all of this next Tuesday in Pittsburgh, at the Energy and Innovation Summit, which is turning out to be a pretty high-profile event. mccormick.senate.gov/.../president-… looks like I’ll be joining a panel of elected officials, including the President, and dozens of well-known CEO’s to discuss Pennsylvania’s role in the energy renascence. A lot of money is being invested in Pennsylvania, (a LOT), and my message to those writing the checks will be no different than it’s been since we launched mikeroweWORKS: "Set some of that money aside to make a more persuasive case for the work itself. The skilled trades need better PR, and they need it on a national level. The country needs to see thousands of examples - real world examples - of men and women who have prospered as a result of learning a skill that's in demand." I first made this point to President Obama in an open letter to The White House in 2009, shortly after he promised 3 million “shovel-ready” jobs in his Highway Infrastructure Act. bit.ly/44M8elW I was rooting for the President back then, and offered to use Dirty Jobs and mikeroweWORKS as vehicles to help promote his initiative. I did so because I was skeptical that people would line up to take those jobs simply because they were "created." “Filling three million shovel-ready jobs,” I wrote, “will be a lot easier if people feel enthused about the prospect of picking up a shovel. Investment alone, won’t create that kind of enthusiasm.” The White House did not respond to my offer. Understandably, most presidents do not seek the advice of marginally famous cable television hosts best known for crawling through sewers. But it’s worth remembering that the unemployment rate back then was over 10%. Millions of people were newly unemployed, and I think the former President assumed that creating three million shovel-ready jobs would translate to three million people going back to work. But that’s not what happened. Because back then, even with record high unemployment, there were 2.3 million open jobs, most of which did not require a four-year degree. Nobody wanted to talk about that. Today, that number is more like 7.6 million. Nobody wants to talk about it now, either. This is why I'm going to Pittsburgh. Just as I was rooting for President Obama in 2009, I’m rooting for President Trump today. I hope he succeeds in reinvigorating our industrial base and reshoring our manufacturing capabilities, and I want to offer my support. But if he does succeed, we’re talking about millions new jobs in manufacturing alone. And currently, there are over 400,000 jobs in that sector that are currently open, begging the obvious question... If we can’t fill the openings we have, how will we fill the one’s we’re about to create? That’s the question I’ll pose in Pittsburgh. I’ll let you know if anyone has an answer. Mike PS. Not to put too fine a point on it, but this change is truly upon us, and I've had a front row seat. Over the last six months, mikeroweWORKS been flooded with inquiries to collaborate on various recruitment initiatives and multiple industries. I mean, flooded. Not a week goes by that I don't hear from an industry leader who has come to the realization that they’ve gone as far as they can go without more skilled labor. Panic, is not too strong a word. The Maritime Industrial Base for instance, is currently tasked with delivering three nuclear powered submarines to the Navy every year for the next decade, and looking to hire 140,000 tradespeople. 140,000!!! “Do you know where they are?” they asked me. “We’ve looked everywhere.” “Yes,” I said. “I know where they are. They’re in the 8th grade.” I’ve had similar calls with the automotive industry, who needs 80,000 technicians and collision repair workers. Every single home service company is hiring – from foundation repair to roofing. The energy industry is looking for hundreds of thousands of skilled workers, and so too is the construction industry. A few weeks ago, at something called The Aspen Ideas Festival, I heard Larry Fink, the CEO of Blackrock, say we’re short 500,000 electricians. A few months before that, at an Energy Conference in Newport, I heard Governor Rick Perry describe the race to build data centers and catch up to China with all things AI as nothing short of a “modern-day Manhattan Project.” I think he's right. Part of the problem is an aging demographic. For every five skilled workers who retire, two replace them. That’s why we need to engage with eighth graders today. Maybe even before that. We have to make a persuasive case for these jobs to the next generation, and just as importantly, to their parents. That won’t solve the immediate problem, but this is marathon, not a sprint, and these jobs need to be magnified and amplified at an early age. The more immediate problem is the labor force participation rate. As we speak, millions of able-bodied Americans - for all sorts of reasons - are not working and not looking for work. According to economist Nick Eberstadt, that number is close to 7 million able-bodied men. youtube.com/watch?v=0eD6ad… I’m not sure what to do about that, but it’s a colossal problem that needs to be addressed. On the positive side, our last round of work ethic scholarships generated unparalleled interest. This year, mikeroweWORKSwill award $5 million to help train the next generation of skilled workers. That's ten times the number of qualified applicants we got this time a year ago. The needle is moving, and I believe we can move it a lot further, with a little help from the companies most incentivized to see the trades reinvigorated. Should be a lively conversation in The Keystone State…
