UPDATE: A 12-year-old was just arrested for murder. And the LA school district is officially facing a massive wrongful-death lawsuit. 12-year-old Khimberly Zavaleta. She died playing bodyguard, stepping in to protect her older sister from a group of violent bullies at Reseda Charter High School. During the fight, she was struck in the head with a metal water bottle. She suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and died days later in the hospital. The family’s lawsuit reveals they begged the school for help and reported the severe bullying for months. Administrators did absolutely nothing to protect them. We just arrested a 12-year-old for murder, but what happens to the adults who let it happen? Are the school officials just as guilty?
