But the Bible is the written word of God that reveals the Saviour, the gospel, the cross, the resurrection, and the truth by which sinners are saved. “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Notice that: not by Rome, not by tradition, not by councils, not by priests, but by the word of God. Yes, Christianity began with Christ. Amen. But Christ preached the Scriptures, fulfilled the Scriptures, quoted the Scriptures, and rebuked men for not knowing the Scriptures. He said, “It is written.” He said, “Search the scriptures.” He said, “thy word is truth.” So pitting Christ against the written word is not spiritual. It is dangerous. And the fact that many Christians through history could not personally read does not prove they did not need Scripture. It proves they needed the Scriptures read, preached, taught, copied, translated, and preserved. Paul told the church to read his epistles publicly. Timothy was told to give attendance to reading, exhortation, and doctrine. The early church did not replace Scripture with Rome. They continued in the apostles’ doctrine. Then comes the real question: “Who has authority to interpret the Bible?” Answer: God does. The Holy Ghost does. Scripture does. The Bible interprets the Bible. No church, pope, priest, council, or tradition has authority to overrule what God wrote. So here is the question: if Rome has the authority to infallibly interpret the Bible, where is Rome’s infallible verse-by-verse interpretation of the entire Bible? Because if they do not have one, then “who has authority to interpret?” usually just means, “Who gets to control the people?”

The way Protestants treat reading of the Bible, you would think reading the Bible is a path to salvation. The way they talk about it, you would think if you don't read the Bible, you're going to hell. But Christianity did not start with people carrying Bibles around.

The rosary is New Age mysticism that was born out of occult deception! Roman Catholics are taught that the rosary is meditating on the scripture, but this is only what appears at the surface!

Rome’s problem is that it reads John 6, stops at the misunderstanding of the Jews, ignores Christ’s explanation, then opens a bakery and calls it theology. I have faith in the finished blood of Jesus Christ, not a wafer factory. Question: if “the flesh profiteth nothing,” why are you trying to make the whole doctrine profit from flesh?
