Financial Donors are a fundamental part of the volunteer community. I want to personally thank all the individuals who contributed funds to my recent campaign, along with all those who continue to invest in their communities.
A big thank you to all the hardworking volunteers who helped go door to door with me last year and who continue to selflessly contribute their time to helping others.
Ehab Mdoukh, Anthony Zibara, Ahmed Hussein, Liam O’Connor, and Mark Samaan dedicated countless hours to help coordinate and organize events for both my campaign and my first days in office. Thank you all for your contributions.

Today I expressed to the legislature, my disappointment that the Government required public engagement on Otter Lake, yet completely ignored the wishes of those who were consulted. Why bother asking for public input if it is just going to be ignored?

Tonight I had the privilege of attending the through our eyes events in honour of the International Day of Elimination of Racial Discrimination @NSHumanRights
I would like to thank and acknowledge MLA Angela Simmonds’ leadership on bringing Bill 12 Dismantling Racism and Hate Act into fruition. Angela’s unwavering determination on the matter was able to bring together voices from across party lines and from across the province.
I’d like to acknowledge my colleagues from @HFXFirefighters Local 268, and the hard fought for amendments that they achieved today. These changes will save many lives. And I am also happy to see a legislature working together for the benefit of the province.
