Three Houses Allocated to Roma Gypsy families by Dublin City Council in the Past Month Over the past month, three Dublin City Council houses became available: Two four-bedroom houses One three-bedroom house One of these was the house I mentioned recently near Croke Park, Foster Terrace, another is a four-bedroom in Summerhill, Dublin 1, and the third is in Drumalee, Dublin 7. All three properties have now been assigned to Roma Gypsy families. Dublin City Council is claiming that some of these houses were sublet to landlords — which is absolute nonsense. In reality, these homes are being given directly to families coming from homeless accommodation, completely bypassing the existing Dublin City Council housing list, Where in some cases families are waiting over 13/15 years on the list Mary Hayes, who oversees housing allocations, is reportedly using the excuse that the Housing Minister wants the homeless figures reduced. This is an outrageous scandal and it’s time for our communities to stand up against this kind of bullying and dishonesty from Dublin City Council. This housing authority must be stopped immediately.

Since I’m on day 11 of my ban on X, I’ve had no choice but to speak to actual humans. Imagine that! Everyone in Dublin Airport — and half the plane — was on our side by the end. I even broke a rule (as usual) and snuck up to the First Class loo because the queue was ridiculous. A lady stopped me and asked my name, and I thought — perfect opportunity! So in my loudest voice I said: 👉 “We don’t get any government funding — so if you want to support children, women, and families, visit NaturalWomensCouncil.com!” Thirty thousand feet in the air, and suddenly heads popped up all over the cabin.
