A pleasure meeting the families who helped shape the curriculum and marking the appointment of Peter Fonagy as President of the Anna Freud Centre.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are visiting Japan! 🇯🇵 🤝 Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed to The Imperial Palace by Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan. The Duke and Duchess also met with Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince and Crown Princess Akishino. 🌳 In the garden at the Akasaka Residence, Their Royal Highnesses planted an oak sapling grown from a tree planted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during the state visit in 1975. 👏 The Duke and Duchess watched sumo wrestling at Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Arena. 日本の皆さま、温かく迎えていただき、ありがとうございました。

In this Jubilee Year, Pope Francis encourages us to look for “signs of hope” in our midst. Begin by reflecting on all the blessings God has given you and the many times he has rescued and forgiven you. He is the hope that never disappoints and in whom we place our trust.

📚🍎 Today The Queen celebrated the impact of the @Literacy_Trust in Middlesbrough. The Trust is an independent charity that empowers children, young people and adults with the literacy skills they need to succeed.  Her Majesty joined 750 children from 12 local schools, Children’s Laureate Frank Cottrell-Boyce and author Nadia Shireen on stage before presenting five students with their ‘Star Reader’ certificates.

There is no need to get discouraged when we acknowledge our sins and weaknesses. Jesus knows and loves us at our worst and our best. He never gives up on us and assures us that his mercy and love are more powerful than any sin. Rely on these gifts and never give up on yourself.

Thank you, Nepal! 🇳🇵 On the final day of their visit, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh explored the breathtaking landscapes around Pokhara and the Annapurna Conservation Area, concluding their journey in Ghandruk—a picturesque hill village with deep-rooted Gurkha heritage. Their Royal Highnesses were warmly welcomed with a traditional ceremony and enjoyed a vibrant Gurung dance performance by a local youth club, celebrating the rich culture and history of the region.

Throughout his ministry, Jesus demonstrated his power over unclean spirits. So, when worldly temptations, impure desires, and evil thoughts come your way, call upon the name of the Lord. Say and repeat a few times: “Jesus, I trust in you.” He will make you clean and pure.

This evening, The King visited Auschwitz 1 where he viewed a collection of personal items confiscated from victims upon their arrival at the camp and passed through the 'Arbeit Macht Frei' gate before laying a wreath at the Death Wall in commemoration of all those who were executed there.   #HMD2025

Jesus wants us to be free and happy, so He asks us to stop and listen to the suffering of the voiceless. Fighting exploitation, especially child exploitation, is the path to build a better future for the whole of society. #GeneralAudience

The Prince and Princess of Wales have become Joint Patrons of The @RoyalMarsdenNHS Foundation Trust. The announcement follows Her Royal Highness’ own personal cancer journey, during which she received treatment from The Royal Marsden. May we take a moment and unite in prayer for all those whose lives are impacted and threatened by the multiple fires raging in Southern California. God, please come to their assistance, protect all first responders, and equip each man, woman, and child with hope amidst the flames.

The simulation is at the weirdest point in time yet. UK politicians voted NO to investigating rape gangs. California is on fire, people are evacuating and the city is giving parking tickets to the cars left behind. more than 45 armed conflicts are currently taking place around the world: Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Israel, Palestine etc. UFOs & Drones are spotted every week. Trust in any form of formal authority be it political or journalistic is at an all-time low. AI is approaching AGI at exponential speeds. Quantum computing proves multiverse is real. Civil unrest and division is at an all-time high. The new generation can't afford to live or ever retire and the middle class is realizing they're the new poor. Collectively, it feels like we're cutting down trees to make chairs to watch the world burn. What would you add to the list?:

A diplomacy of hope is, in the end, a diplomacy of justice, without which there can be no peace. The Jubilee year is a favourable time to practice justice, forgive debts, and commute the sentences of prisoners.
