I posted this on Instagram but some of you loves who aren’t on there might need to see a sweet face in this menacing place today.

One day there will be no more night. No more war. No more terror. No more pain. No more bloodshed. No more rape. No more hunger. No more children killed by grownup hate. Nothing left to fear. For Christ’s kingdom shall come. His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Christians need to learn how to just "mourn with those who mourn." We don't have to use every tragedy as an opportunity to go on theological rants about God's will, God's judgment, or eschatology. Geesh.

Love your kid. No matter how you differ. Love your kid. Tell them you do. Show them you do. Make sure they know, even when you don’t love their choices, even when they don’t share your convictions, that you love them and you are there for them. Right there for them.

@JustnBullington Here’s what you might try. Try not assuming things second hand as those who say some of these things have a tendency to overlook what they wish not to find. Look for yourself and with pure intent. Indeed look through 40 years of material. Look in the most recent study.
