Four signatures, four violations, one pattern: Moscow treats every agreement as a reload interval — a pause to reconstitute, then resume. So no, the problem is not that nobody tried diplomacy. The problem is that with this Russia, a treaty is not the end of the war. It is the war, continued on paper.

💔 Zehava Shaul, the mother of fallen IDF soldier Oron Shaul, whose body was held hostage by Hamas in Gaza for over 10 years, passed away on Friday at the age of 71. She was laid to rest yesterday in her hometown in northern Israel alongside Oron and her husband, Herzl. Oron was killed in battle with Hamas terrorists in Shuja'iyya, Gaza, on July 20, 2014, during Operation Protective Edge. His body was kidnapped and held hostage for over a decade until it was rescued by Israeli forces in Gaza in January 2025. Zehava spent those 10 years fighting every day for the return of Oron's body while also battling cancer. After Oron's body was finally returned, she admitted she never thought she would live to see him brought home. She will forever be remembered as a lioness. 🕯️
