"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is..." — Romans 12:2 (NIV)
Let His Word renew your thinking! Have you read your Bible today? 📖
As marred as this world has become because of sin, it is still beautiful, and it is still our home until God makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).
But while we wait for that day, we have a responsibility to do our part now. How we treat this earth reflects what we believe about the One who made it.

Does the Bible Teach Infant Baptism?
The Bible teaches tut baptism comes after a person believes in Jesus, repents of sin, and chooses to follow Him. Baptism is connected with a personal decision of faith.
1. Faith Comes Before Baptism.
When Philip preached the gospel, the people first believed, then they were baptized.
“But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized” (Acts 8:12).
The people heard the message, understood it, believed it, and were baptized.
2. Repentance Comes Before Baptism.
Peter told the crowd on the Day of Pentecost:
“Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’” (Acts 2:38).
Repentance means recognizing sin and turning to God. That requires understanding and a personal choice.
3. The Bible Never Commands Infant Baptism.
The Bible contains many examples of baptism. There is no verse commanding the baptism of infants. There is also no example that clearly says infants were baptized.
Some point to household baptisms.
The Philippian Jailer
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household” (Acts 16:31-33).
Paul and Silas first preached God's Word to everyone in the house. The passage shows people hearing and responding to the message before baptism.
Lydia's Household.
“And when she and her household were baptized...” (Acts 16:15).
The Bible says her household was baptized. It does not mention infants.
4. The Ethiopian Eunuch Gives a Clear Example.
Before baptism, Philip asked about belief.
“If you believe with all your heart, you may.” (Acts 8:37-38).
The eunuch replied:
“I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
Then he was baptized. Faith came first.
5. Faith Is Required.
Jesus said:
“He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:16).
Belief is connected with baptism throughout the New Testament.
6. Circumcision and Baptism Are Different.
Some teach that baptism took the place of circumcision.
Circumcision was given to male babies in Israel as a sign of belonging to Abraham's family (Genesis 17:12).
Baptism points to a person's union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
“Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death...” (Romans 6:3-4).
This experience is connected with personal faith in Christ.
7. Salvation Comes Through Faith
The Bible teaches:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith...” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Baptism is an outward testimony of faith. Salvation comes from God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
8. What About Children?
The Bible gives examples of children being dedicated to God.
Samuel:
“Then I will take him, that he may appear before the Lord and remain there forever” (1 Samuel 1:22).
Jesus:
“They brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord” (Luke 2:22).
These examples show parents dedicating their children to God and committing themselves to raise them in His ways.
Conclusion:
The New Testament pattern:
Hear the gospel.
Believe in Christ.
Repent of sin.
Be baptized.
Every example follows this order. The Bible never gives a direct command for infant baptism and never clearly describes an infant being baptized. For that reason, many Christians believe baptism should take place when a person is old enough to understand the gospel and make a personal decision to follow Jesus Christ.
The commandment which points out who the true God is, the Creator and Ruler of the earth is the Sabbath commandment.
It is a token by which His people are distinguished from all false religionists of the world.

Peace is not found in having control over everything. It’s found in knowing the One who does. The more you know God, the more you discover the peace your heart has been searching for. Send this to someone who needs peace today.
Peter didn't say David was in heaven but not exalted. Peter said:
"David is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day" (Acts 2:29).
Then he added:
"For David did not ascend into the heavens" (Acts 2:34).
If David was already in heaven, Peter had the perfect opportunity to say so. Instead, he said the opposite.
Dios promete favorecernos en la medida en que nos acerquemos a Él con plena confianza. No es solo el acto de orar y ayunar lo que abre las ventanas de los cielos, sino la intención sincera detrás de ese acto.
