Day 2/30 When people think about Web3 security, the first thing that usually comes to mind is audits. Audits are important, but they only represent a snapshot of a protocol at a specific point in time. Once a smart contract is deployed, it enters a dynamic environment where users interact, liquidity moves, integrations are added, and new attack vectors can emerge. That is where @DroseraNetwork becomes interesting. Instead of focusing only on pre deployment security, Drosera introduces a real time layer of protection through traps. These traps are designed to monitor on chain activity continuously and watch for abnormal behavior. Developers can create custom conditions based on the needs of their protocol, whether it is monitoring token supply, admin privileges, minting activity, or other critical functions. If suspicious activity is detected, the trap can trigger a predefined response immediately. This approach shifts security from simply finding vulnerabilities to actively defending protocols while they operate. As Web3 continues to grow, security needs to evolve beyond static protection. Protocols should not just be deployed. They should be able to defend themselves. That is one of the reasons I am spending the next 30 days learning more about @DroseraNetwork.

Day 1/30 Starting a fresh 30 day journey exploring @DroseraNetwork and why real time security is becoming one of the most important conversations in Web3. Every year, the crypto industry loses millions of dollars to exploits, hacks, and vulnerabilities. While audits remain a critical part of security, they are only a snapshot in time. Attackers do not stop after an audit is completed, and protocols continue to evolve long after deployment. This is what makes @DroseraNetwork interesting. Drosera introduces a new approach through traps, smart contracts designed to monitor on chain activity, detect abnormal behavior, and trigger responses when predefined conditions are met.
