To those who think AGI is upon us: 1. why don't we have level-5 autonomous driving? Any 17 year old can learn to drive in 20 hours of training. 2. Why don't we have domestic robots that can clear the dinner table and fill the dishwasher? Any 10 year old can learn to do that in minutes. Obviously, we are still missing something big for machines to reach human-level intelligence. How do we get machines to learn how the world works?
@elonmusk Yeah, as soon as you guys OTA it to my 2023 Model S Plaid 😉
@elonmusk Also, I've been using autopilot since 2015, when I got my first Model S. First production car to ever have a ConvNet watching the road (MobilEye hardware). It's for sale, by the way.
“Yeah, as soon as you guys OTA it to my 2023 Model S Plaid”, but not before Musk will afford to reveal the AP/FSD current level of safety in terms of casualties per VMT (vehicle mile travel) So far, Tesla's "Quarterly Safety Reports" only publish the total number of all crashes, which are essentially minor fender-bender statistics, to smokescreen the actual statistics on human injuries
