Any type of power, whether it's the atomic kind or the judicial one, can be used either for the good of humanity or for its destruction. To insure that it's used for the former, the legal community as well as the scientific sector have to be held accountable by oversight agencies on a constant basis
@tribelaw Getting excited about the coming evening: Rachel’s show, Lawrence’s show, and Comedy Central with Al Franken ! ! ! Trifecta! @maddow @Lawrence @alfranken
@tribelaw @DennisAftergut Lawfare. Not just about tyranny but destroying social fabric one step at a time.
@tribelaw @DennisAftergut "villains of authoritarianism like Orban and Trump have figured out that you don’t need to get rid of all the lawyers: it’s enough to corrupt a few. Stopping America’s would-be autocrat will require voters, prosecutors, lawyers of integrity, and the judiciary."
@tribelaw @DennisAftergut And that’s just it too. Isn’t money their weakness
