Hello from @MoneylifeF : Do you know people who have paid/settled #creditcard dues 10-15yrs ago & are now being harassed by #recovery firms/agents because they cannot produce proof/NoDues certificates? Trying to see how widespread this is. Do RT & Help E: [email protected]

@suchetadalal @Devinder_Sharma @MoneylifeF I have twice submitted the receipt to Citibank in 2009 for my card due in 2004 and it is still showing 2k due in my cibil 😃😉😉 And actually I paid Rs. 1800 more then I was liable to pay, even having all the payment voucher it is still opened case

@suchetadalal @MoneylifeF I had similiar situation 2-3 years, had to pay again the dues , as they were threatening police action etc even after dues were paid as per request, but didn't HV proof as it was 10 years old transaction. CIBIL also picks all such false data

@harrydelhi @Devinder_Sharma @MoneylifeF Again, as I mentioned in other comments below. Citibank is closing it retail business. you better make the effort to get a no dues or closure certificate or you will have a bigger festering problem. The new buyer will not even talk to you. Happened with ABN Amro customers

@ProudSecular @MoneylifeF You could have fought it out. we have helped innumerable people do it.

@suchetadalal @Moneylifers @MoneylifeF I am suffering.. standard chartered issued credit card which was not applied for and they were informed n card was returned still first statement showed due of 2697/- they don’t have copy of application form or charge slip @RBI @FinMinIndia in year 2011

Do read the responses. So many people give in to thugs so this unethical business model succeeds. It is possible to fight them, but most people won’t Google, discover FREE support and make the best effort! 🥲sigh!

Some ask for help in a quote tweet instead of writing to @MoneylifeF !

Most worrying are those who are unaware that unless these issues are closed it can come up anytime bad loans are resold to yet another recovery agency! And credit scores will remain impaired!

@kirankothari54 @Moneylifers @MoneylifeF @RBI @FinMinIndia You need to close out this issue. Recent spate of complaints at @MoneylifeF are all about loans sold by stanchart to a credit recovery agency
