@splashdubs LOL. So we’re just gonna act like the lucky timing of a huge salary cap spike that allowed them to sign Kevin Durant just didn’t happen?!? 😂 😂 😂 😂
@splashdubs @warriorsworld I think it’s more the fact the warriors and clippers owner have open check books
@splashdubs You looking at it wrong Warriors didn’t “gain all this money” Lacob and Balmer are billionaires that are willing to spend at any cost
@splashdubs There should be a clause that you don’t get punished for drafting well
@splashdubs Yes do you think the other 29 teams and the other players like to lose to the warriors every year?
@splashdubs Yes, but it’s because Lacob and CO are willing to spend the luxury and repeater tax. Initially, owners didn’t think this would occur. Now that it has, the majority of the owners will ensure that another warriors and clippers never happen again.
@splashdubs Dont matter how good you draft. The purpose of the NBA is the whole to succeed & not 1 team. & its in the best interest of players to support this (more successful teams=more salary $$$). A team shouldnt have 3 All-NBA players & should be forced to make hard roster decisions.
@splashdubs So basically the league is punishing the teams that are driving viewership while rewarding the cheap tanking teams that nobody watches. Top 4 cheapest teams- Spurs, Hornets, Pacers and Magic. Top 4 spenders- Clippers, Warriors, Bucks and Celtics.
