@cookinmaama Not assisting is refusing. Under the Constitution, states have the responsibility to fulfill the extradition requests of other states, and therefore not agreeing to assist is indeed a refusal and a violation of the Constitution.

This is just nuts. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is reportedly offering Donald Trump sanctuary in the state, saying he would refuse to extradite him to New York if he fails to surrender himself. So much for supporting the Constitution, which includes extradition law agreements.
