I have posted this before but .. 26 years ago, a gunman entered Dunblane Primary School in Scotland, killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK govt responded by enacting tight gun control legislation. In the 9400+ days since, there have been a total of O school shootings in the UK.

@peterframpton In Australia since the introduction of gun control after the Port Arthur mass shooting that saw 36 people die, 27 years ago, there have been 3 mass shootings with 14 victims. Two of the incidents were familicide incidents where the perpetrator killer themselves
I’ve posted this before but.. 246 years ago the United States threw your brightly colored Army out of our country. Immediately afterward our government declared that the opinions of British were irrelevant. In the 90,116 days since then the opinion of aspiring stodgy British hall monitors hasn’t mattered.
@peterframpton Thank you. That’s why I wish the British won the Revolutionary War. Can you imagine how much better our country would be? on so many levels. My father’s family would be much better off today if the British won.
@peterframpton A mass shooting occurred in 1996 at Port Arthur, in Australia. 35 dead, 23 wounded. This led to fundamental changes in Australia's gun laws. Guess how many school shootings Australia has seen since? Hmmmm... call me crazy but I can almost see a pattern here!
@peterframpton @djrothkopf Bill Clinton had passed a law on gun control, but it had a sunset clause. When that date arrived, George W Bush decided to let it lapse. Since then, there's been a series of mass shootings in the US, killing hundreds of people every year. All of them deserved to live.
