Functional householders of Twitter, do you throw clothes, linens (sheets, towels, etc) and housekeeping things (mopheads, kitchen towels) in the washing machine together, or do you have some sort of adult human protocols for each? #badulting

FOLLOW UP QUESTION: Where do you STORE household linens (eg kitchen towels)?

@orbyn Tea towels piled on open shelves in the kitchen. Bathroom towels on open shelves above the toilet (gross, probably)

From someone with zero householding skills, two kids, a full-time job, chronic illness AND ADHD, and a "surprise" piece of laundry around every corner (is it clean? Sniff it and see!), thank you.

@orbyn The utility cupboard on the shelves above the washing machine, with cleaning bits and and dog food. Bath towels in airing cupboard.

@orbyn Bottom drawer in the kitchen holds the tea towels

@orbyn Tea towels and cloths in a kitchen drawer together. Always wash mop heads separately. Towels & bedding go in wardrobes as we’ve no airing cupboard
