Something that occasional gets mentioned but we forget until panic sets in is that the valuations in crypto are soooo inflated if you compare it to liquidity Even more so once you take into account how much the tide goes out when shit hits the fan I know we have market cap and FDV, but a liquidity adjusted value would be another interesting and probably truest measure
% of pairs with abnormally high volume yesterday with a 90D lookback big old spike lotta coins changing hands
Started @levolytics 10/1/25 perfectly in time for everything to biblically nuke @levolytics returns ITD = -25% (long only strategy) bitcoin:native = -47% Alts = -67% Note that this is trading crypto only, no stonks Nothing to brag about, but learned a lottt in the process

not publishing anything for @levolytics tomorrow prob spending the weekend doing a big rebuild and likely cutting some more data feeds unfortunately if im going to continue doing the newsletter + videos, it'll be at very little to no cost which i still think will be quality, but not what it was
If this is it (big if) then I’d say this was a relatively orderly high volatility event for bitcoin:native + crypto Only caveat: strong alts haven’t truly broken down yet though. That’s either more meat on the bone or it’ll be a good time to buy next time they print LTF highs
Biggest problem with crypto: there's a catastrophic event every 6 months getting increasingly paranoid that we're on the cusp of the next one tbh
Updated chart today 1-Week return for alts = -2% However, big spike in oversold pairs Lots of dispersion seems to be the only answer here

Simple measure = Alts vs Tech equities 90D returns You were better off owning large cap tech (Mag 7 is what this basically is) for the past 14 months However, bitcoin:native + Alts now showing some relative strength
