I strongly disagree- while the odds of seeing last year's peak #gasprices aren't zero, those prices are an extremely long shot, and a LOT would have to go wrong to get anywhere near. We may not even hit a national average of $4 per gallon this summer.

@GasBuddyGuy It’s very strange for someone - at this moment - to assume a repeat of last year when oil is like 40% lower than the peak and never came within $30 of it. I know it’s not just oil, but also aren’t crack spreads much less severe as well?

@kapoano @GasBuddyGuy I think they get ahead of their skis. If we had 5 buck gas once, maybe we can have it again. They find some 'fundamentals' for belief that gas prices will rise, and extrapolate to another record.
