New lightly protected cycle lanes on Norwood Road on the south side of Brockwell Park - definitely an improvement on what was quite a horrible road to cycle on
This is exciting - looks like a bus stop cycle bypass going in on Kennington Road
This is traffic filter on Shakespeare road - I like the little benches that are appearing on the planters, nice idea (Still think this would be better with a folding bollard in the middle)
Slightly weird contraption on Canon Street in the City - a protected contra flow cycle lane with extra pavement space. Nice though
Here’s a great one - Middleton Road in Hackney, just west of London fields, closed to through traffic - huge difference and a really useful east-west route across the borough by bike
Experience cycling on the newly filtered Middleton Road in Hackney - loads of people on bikes, just taking their time
Now a newly improved north-South route from Hackney to the City (Old Street) - Pitfield Street has been closed to traffic as the north end but a cycle path remains. Here’s the path bit, but the important thing is the rest of the road is very quiet
Going back to Tooting, looks like the new protected lane documented earlier in the thread has been removed with the backing of the local Labour MP. Tory council were also complaining

A nice touch at Somerleyton Passage in Brixton - new dropped kerbs at both end to make it easy to cycle. Good attention to detail @clairekholland!
@joncstone @clairekholland This was done at my request then, when I showed the officer in charge of the scheme how the entry/exit to the passageway was really awkward/dangerous for a 3-wheeler user. Responsive team!👍👍
@IsabelleClement @clairekholland very cool! glad it’s back
