I love to create but it’s extremely hard for me to enjoy what I make. We had a tasting @AnnaJona tonight and everyone else was enjoying themselves, the food, drinks and atmosphere. But all I could think about was what we could improve. It’s exhausting.
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona It’s so easy to get used to perfection so that all you see is imperfection. It’s the thought that counts.
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona Invite me out to help make some decisions!
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona Sometimes you just need to live in the moment, that moment only happens once. If you over think things, in a moments notice, that moment is gone, and you never got to enjoy it.
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona That's the burden of being a great creator. Nothing ever feels like it's enough - there will always be space to improve.
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona Over thinking does that
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona An idea would be to allow yourself to identify only one thing you would change/improve for each, written down and then only allow yourself to enjoy not further critique the rest of the evening. Refocus on the enjoyment you see around you. You deserve to have enjoyment too.
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona That's hard --
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona I just leave this here. For nor particular reason. youtu.be/7-_rK0KkB6k
@iamharaldur @AnnaJona .....I understand...I think it's ok to think of improvements as long as you acknowledge the very good aspects, as well..
