People on the right realized a long time ago that a good story will always be more convincing than facts. The left is still trying to catch up.
People on the left have most of the facts on their side but still manage to lose because they can’t tell enough emotionally compelling simple stories.
A good story doesn’t need to be a lie. A compelling story can (and should be) true. But it’s not enough to be right all the time. You won’t move people to action by having the most correct statistic. You need to know how to package the truth in a way that drives people forward.
@iamharaldur Is left and right equivalent to the US and your politics or do you guys do it backwards like driving car on other side of road?
@iamharaldur Not really, about the facts. The left has been manufacturing its own facts for a long time.
@iamharaldur And you tell yourselves that often and loudly. While thinking of the CHILDREN.
@iamharaldur The problem being that hatred and lies are simple and the truth is often very complex and nuanced. The right tell simple lies and nobody sticks around long enough to hear the complex truths.
@iamharaldur They have a tendency towards tantrums and labeling people "Nazis" which undermine their valid arguments.
@iamharaldur Sorry to disagree, but I think you have it backwards! 😊
@iamharaldur Not at all. The only thing the left has are emotional appeals, false equivalencies, hyperbole, and failed attempts at censorship.
