My elderly mother is stuck in a hospital bed. She can’t sit in a normal chair and needs a special chair. Sadly she has to share the chair with another patient. For days she has not had access to this chair. Being stuck in bed is doing her no good esp with chest problems

Mum was in Glos Royal Hospital, May 13-15. Had no food, just 3 glasses of water, and wasn’t washed despite ongoing diarrhoea. Bandages on wet legs not changed, but caked in 💩. Arrived home in ambulance 14 hrs after being discharged. Where was she?@KenGoodwinITV @AlexChalkChelt

Such a worry. Poor mother’s legs. Two medics say she needs IV. Sadly medics can’t go directly to rapid response they get questioned by another body first. They say no to IV must do orals first. Judgement made over a phone call @NHSGlos @BrenJMcinerney
