10/10 would recommend booking an @Airbnb Experience if you’re wanting to do local activities without any planning while traveling. I went on a delicious street food tour in Bangkok that had 2 Michelin star stops, eating things I never would’ve tried or found on my own.
Here’s the link to the Experience I went on in case you find yourself in Bangkok too: abnb.me/UiFljOMLeyb
@esthercrawford @Airbnb Bangkok street food is amazing, but make sure to go to some cafes & fine dining too, the city has an amazingly diverse set of options at all price levels!
@esthercrawford @Airbnb That’s the way I like to travel.
@esthercrawford @Airbnb So glad you tried this out! I helped build the Experiences business in Thailand and the hosts in Bangkok are 💯
@esthercrawford @Airbnb Airbnb has a lot of scammers, and their cleaning fees can be as much as the rent cost even for a few days .. it’s a clear scam and raising local rents .. it’s disappointing Silicon Valley folks don’t hold one of their own accountable
@esthercrawford @Airbnb In many (most) cases, those offering #Airbnb experiences also offer same service privately and have own websites If you *really* want to support local businesses, far better to book with hosts direct, rather than giving Airbnb the opportunity to cream a whopping 20% off the top
@esthercrawford @Airbnb 2* Michelin Stars ??????
@esthercrawford @Airbnb Definitely not back street - and you defiantly could have found on your own if you tried !
