@avatarsaysitall @wilnerhotline You realize that BYU was .500 in conference this year? With a top 5 pick NBA pick and other talent around them that is miles ahead of where ASU is now. This conference is incredible in basketball.

@bergerdad @GrahamCoffeyDC No, in his argument the football regular season helps to define who the best team is and it eliminates teams. Hoops regular season has little bearing on who is going to win the tourney. It’s basically meaningless preseason games for the top 30-40 teams.

@GoldyHappens “Changing of the guard” is a silly comment. The Rats with their starter at QB who has taken every snap for the last 8 seasons and is now gone. ASU w/o their QB who makes things go for this offense. Your comment makes it seem like two teams going opposite direction

@TolleEnthusiast If they are active (spend money) upgrading other spots, I can handle it. If there is a #2 starter here (in addition to Gray) and another starting position player, I’d be ok with it. Can find a bat at 1B during the season if it melts down.

@tylermilliken_ Cody Bellinger? Plays 1B and OF at a high defensive level, doesn’t strike out a ton. Has power. Not the same power as these two, but a lot more versatile and athletic.

@Anthony_Totri Just not a good take. I’m a Sun Devil, but they delay one of their OOC’s until November. They’re just playing their games in a different order, with a conference schedule that is elite. They played conference games in Wk 2 and Wk 3.

@DougTammaro @RandyPolicar Absolute baller. Didn’t have amazing arm strength, wasn’t super fast, wasn’t huge. Just a guy who really wanted to put it on the line and try to win football games. A great Sun Devil.
