NEWS: Hearing there might be a chance we *do* get a Utah team name/mascot before next season. Could be a temporary name for Year 1 so the players have something to call themselves or a permanent brand. Told "50/50" chance they have a name beyond "Utah" for 2024-25 season.

This is exactly how I feel about the situation. Trae is a bucket but I don't trust his mental makeup. On top of that you need elite defenders around him to make it work. But at the end of the day if DA trades for him I will be his biggest fan.
Jazz with the fifth best odds to acquire Trae Young. Not sure that's the direction they should go. He's certainly talented: 25-30 PPG and 9-11 APG each of the past five seasons. But that defense... If Rudy was still here, I'd be more open.

Can’t think of many players better suited to play with Trae Young—both offensively and defensively—than Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler. That’s all I’ll say.

@davidjsmith1232 Exactly & exactly. Being either Trae or Don. If you have either, you need Rudy as a C, Don/Trae as your PG and the wings.
