No offense allowed a lower pressure rate (12%) than the Chargers in Week 1. And they did it against arguably the best defensive line in the NFL.
@PFF_AustinGayle This is not the best defensive line in the league. If so this never happens. Ever. Embarrassing effort and people need to stop calling them that.
@PFF_AustinGayle Tell us the average time Herbert held onto the ball. That’ll tell you everything. Can’t pressure it when he ball is out in under 2 seconds.
@PFF_AustinGayle They are still cursed. This will be paid back later in the season.
@PFF_AustinGayle This is misleading. Part of that success rate for the Chargers is because they were in a quick game most of the time. WFT must expect that from most teams this season and adjust. Play more press man.
@PFF_AustinGayle @ScottJenningsHH Stop with the best defense line dialogue
@PFF_AustinGayle This stat is bit misleading. Implies the dline couldn't get pressure. I think the more telling stat is how short Herbert held the ball. Going with the presnap read and very short drops he had the ball out quickly. Exposed how teams could play vs the d and WFT will have to adjust.
@PFF_AustinGayle Our defense line is massively overrated. Tampa shut us down also
@PFF_AustinGayle Oh that's right they drafted the tackle that we should have drafted but our tackle situation is spectacular so no need
