Wondering if folks have advice about getting monetized by @YouTubeCreators. The only public vids on my page are the 4 episodes of my original show, but I was rejected for "limited originality." I do have a bunch of news clips on private. Should I delete them before reapplying?
@atrupar when applying for YPP, it’s best to make sure to follow our monetization policies: goo.gle/3z3zFIm learn more here: goo.gle/3z4eTIu lmk if you have any other q’s!
@TeamYouTube Thank you for responding. The public videos on my page are fully original video podcasts, so I believe I am following the monetization policies. But please let me know if I'm missing something. youtube.com/channel/UCpspd…
@atrupar we recommend checking the article shared for info on our monetization policies. reach back out if you have other concerns
@TeamYouTube thanks. Would it be possible for you to shoot me a DM? I have questions about what to do before appealing/reapplying
@atrupar we might be able to help you without having to DM, we recommend making changes based on the info shared on your Earn tab. also, keep uploading original videos as you can always reapply in 30 days. lmk if you have other q's
@TeamYouTube Thank you. One more Q. While all of my public videos are fully original, I have a number of videos on private that are just news clips and hence not original content. Would it be more helpful to my cause to delete them entirely, or are public videos the only consideration?
@atrupar when you apply for monetization, we review your whole channel including your private videos. as long as they follow our policies & guidelines, you shouldn't have any problems at all. hope this helps clarify!
